About

I’m an Edinburgh-based writer and researcher (as of 2020). Very broadly speaking, I’m interested in biography, education and the arts.

After dabbling in Modern Languages at Oxford (2006-10), I spent my 20s teaching (mainly) in South London – a tough but formative experience.

One of my aims is to help enrich children’s lives by promoting the best extracurricular opportunities, arts education and quality children’s books.

We are, actually, pioneers trying to find a new path through the maze of tradition, convention and dogma.

Anne Morrow Lindbergh

Just think what a real education for these children would involve. It would start by giving a child an understanding of himself, his world, his culture, his community. That’s the starting point of any educational process.

Barack Obama

Yorkshire really formed my character. I get straight to the point and say what I feel. I can’t help it, it’s genetic.

Diana Rigg
